Men are under more pressure than ever, and it’s having an effect on their health.

There’s a lot going on for men today, particularly in midlife. They’re supporting families, juggling work, taking care of relatives, and perhaps brushing up against their own mortality with a health scare.

In my practice, men come to see me because they’re concerned about the state of their health. They’re challenged by lack of sleep, high stress and a lack of time. They complain of an extra 5-15 kilos (especially around their middle) and an overall feeling of ‘sluggishness’. They’re troubled that their minds don’t feel as sharp and their libido has dulled. They wonder if this is just the inevitable decline of ageing.

On top of all this, they may have just gotten the news from their doctor that their cholesterol, blood pressure, or blood sugar levels are too high and medication might be in order.

They want to do something proactive about their health.

They know that it’s possible to be fitter, stronger, leaner and sharp throughout their 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and beyond, because they see men who are all of these things. They want the same.
