candida albicans

Candida can live harmoniously in small numbers in the gastrointestinal tract and the vaginal tract in women.

As the yeast grows it depletes your nutrient status, damaging the lining of your GI tract and impairing your immune system mechanisms.

Your body absorbs the yeast, particles and its toxins, which when coupled with poor nutrient status can lead to an over burdened liver.  Unable to detoxify efficiently, your body processes can become disrupted resulting in the 'yeast syndrome', i.e. feeling sick all over, symptoms of allergies, chemical sensitivities, impaired immunity and fatigue.

Chronic Candidiasis is a multi-factorial condition resulting in a wide display of ill health.  A comprehensive approach is required to combat the vicious cycle of Candida.

If you think Candida may be impacting your health, I am a nutritionist and I know which healthy foods can help.
